Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Divinity (the "App"), developed and operated by Clarity Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Divinity. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts

You may use certain features as a guest. To access personalized features, you may create an account using email or a supported social login. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@clarityapps.info if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Divinity offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Premium unlocks all app features, including Scripture Chat, Daily Saint Cards, Bible Trivia, Reading Plans, Prayer Wall, and full Bible reading access.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
We do not process refunds directly. All billing disputes are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Divinity for personal, non-commercial, devotional purposes only. You agree not to:

Copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the App
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data associated with the App
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access any part of the App
Submit content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others

5. User-Generated Content

If you submit prayer requests or other content through the App, you grant Clarity Apps LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the App. You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to the community.

6. Intellectual Property

The Divinity app — including its design, code, features, graphics, and original content — is owned by Clarity Apps LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Bible translations and Scripture text are the property of their respective rights holders and are used under applicable licenses.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Divinity is provided for devotional and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional spiritual counseling, mental health care, or medical advice. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clarity Apps LLC and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described there.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in California.
